
What is the Macmillan Welfare Benefits Advice Service?
Our Macmillan team provide an advice service for people affected by cancer. If you or someone close to you has been diagnosed with cancer, money might not be one of the first things you think about. But having cancer can be expensive. Your income may go down and your expenses may go up. If you are struggling to cope with the financial impact of cancer, remember there is help available.
How does this service differ from general advice?
This is a specialist service for clients and their families in our community affected by cancer.
How do I access this service?
If you live, work or are receiving cancer treatment in Somerset, we can help.
- Ask a health professional to make a referral to us e.g. cancer nurse specialist or support worker, or
- Get in touch online by using our email advice form, or
- Call 01935 847666 – please leave a message if necessary.
