Fund Information

Citizens Advice Somerset is administering and delivering the Easter Holiday Family Support Fund applications on behalf of Somerset Council.
This is a discretionary fund designed to provide food vouchers for households with children currently in receipt of free school meals, who are struggling to afford food, over the school Easter break, due to financial hardship or crisis. If awarded you will receive £20 supermarket voucher per child.

You will be required to provide evidence to support your application. You can upload photos or screenshots/PDFs with this form. If you are unable to do this, we can contact you to discuss your next steps. Access to assistance is based on the outcome of this application form and the evidence you provide. As this is a discretionary fund there is no right of appeal if you disagree with the outcome. The evidence you will need to provide is:

proof of identity and free school meals, or
proof of identity and your most recent Universal Credit statement - please note this needs to be a full statement showing a breakdown of the elements received

If awarded you will receive £20 supermarket voucher per child.
